- I'm an experienced spiritual director who has taught spiritual direction in training programs around the country. As a psychologist and spiritual director, my area of interest is the integration of spirituality and psychology. I'm "person-centered" in orientation and support individuals in their emerging of their own spiritual path.
- I've worked with individuals from a variety of religious traditions as well as no particular religious tradition. My experience includes journeying with those in grief, life transitions, LGBT individuals, members of the clergy, those in recovery, and individuals exploring what spirituality may mean for them.
- Professionally, I teach in a graduate program in psychology and am the author of eight books on topics related to spirituality, personal growth, chronic illness, and bereavement.
- For those at a distance, I'm available via Skype.

- I believe that redemption can be experienced through loss and brokenness, and that transformation can occur from restoration and healing. Love to listen deeply to God moving in the lives of anyone interested in growing spiritually: Christians, “Nones,” those wondering what spirituality means, those who are grieving, the spiritually injured, folks in transition, co-dependents in recovery, students, clergy/elders, spiritual directors, caregivers, seniors.
- Experienced daughter, sister, beloved, mother, friend, teacher, life-long learner, and Christ follower. My ecumenical background: lay leader, teacher, and choir member while Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, “None,” Anglican. Now an ordained Elder in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). A Nationally Certified Counselor since 1994, I helped train Christian counselors and studied classical spiritual direction at Richmont Graduate University, my alma mater.
- Available for individual and group spiritual direction, spiritual formation seminars, and contemplative retreats.
- Special consideration to college/graduate students.
